Tell us about your career:
I started my career in the apartment industry in 2008 with a background in hospitality and a bachelor’s degree in business and marketing from Penn College. After graduation, I moved to Raleigh and stumbled upon Property Management! I still remember leasing my first apartment here and how friendly everyone in the office was. That is when I decided to take the plunge into this crazy industry and never left. I started as a leasing consultant with Drucker and Falk, transitioned to Marketing Coordinator for Landmark Residential, and worked my way to Property Manager through the MIT program with PRG Real Estate.
Working in the apartment industry has provided me with a career that is both challenging and rewarding. I currently lead a team of seven phenomenal employees at The Falls Apartment Homes and oversee everything from Leasing to Capital Improvement Projects. I enjoy training and developing my team, so they can flourish and feel empowered to perform their best every day. I am so grateful to be a part of this industry and have made some incredible lifelong connections with people that I have met along the way.
What advice do you have for someone just starting in your field:
Find a company that aligns with your values and that will invest in you and your future.

Be consistent and be kind. Do your best every day and do not take things personally.
