Tell us about your career:
I started in multifamily in 1976 as a leasing consultant with Providence Properties, I then went to Lincoln Property in 1978 which became Paragon Group. I got out of PM in 1981 to 1983 and went with Interstate Securities in investment banking but missed PM so I joined Kuester Properties in 1984 as a Marketing VP. I then went to Summit Properties in 1985 and was there until 2002 as a VP. I moved to Commercial with Spectrum Properties in 2003 and liked it, but again wanted to return to multifamily.
I went with Colonial Properties Trust in 2005 as a VP of Operations. In 2009 I went to Balfour Beatty in Military Housing until 2015. In 2015 I joined Northwood Ravin as Sr. VP of Operations. I landed in 2016 at Highmark Residential opening their Carolinas Region and have been here ever since as RVP. I was actively involved in GCAA and was their President in 1990. I then became very involved in NAA and became the first female Chairwoman in 1999.
have received many honors including the AANC Hall of Fame; Businesswoman of the year for the Charlotte Business Journal and these two I am the most proud. I am a Realtor, CPM and CAPS.
