Tell us about your career:
My journey in property management commenced in 1994, immediately after high school, where I began as a part-time leasing consultant. Over the years, I steadily climbed the professional ladder, assuming roles such as Manager, Regional Manager, Director, and others, leading me to where I find myself today. After a year and a half hiatus, during which I unofficially retired, I realized I still had much to contribute to this industry and its incredible people.
My decision to join Arden 55+ Living was a pivotal one, introducing me to a unique dimension that I hadn't encountered in my two decades of property management. The opportunity to serve active adults and contribute to shaping a company culture centered around community building, rather than just meeting underwriting targets, was truly invigorating. This chapter has proven to be the most fulfilling leg of my professional journey, and I'm profoundly grateful for the serendipity that brought this opportunity my way.
Working with Arden 55+ Living has not only allowed me to bring my skills to the table but has also presented an avenue to cultivate a community-centric ethos. This shift from a purely numbers-driven approach has been immensely rewarding. I extend my heartfelt appreciation to the esteemed leaders in our industry with whom I've had the privilege to collaborate. Their mentorship has been invaluable, and I am thankful beyond words for the opportunities I've encountered and the meaningful relationships I've forged along this remarkable journey.
