Tell us about your career:
Linda has been in sales and marketing since graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She joined the multifamily industry in 2015 as a vendor in the Charlotte market and loves this tight-knit community. As a rep covering North Carolina and South Carolina for the past eight years, Linda enjoys the camaraderie most between clients and vendors and loves helping managers and owners in property management with unexpected issues that arise from water damage, mold damage, fire & smoke damage, and biohazard/odor issues. As a marketing rep for Spangler Restoration for the past two years, Linda loves to be the solution to the problem so community managers can get back to serving their residents!
What advice do you have for someone just starting in your field:
Stay positive and get connected with others (even if just one or two people in the beginning). The multifamily industry is ever-changing so having the support of others is key to long lasting relationships and success. Oh and a sense of humor!
Anything else you would like to share:
Don't be afraid to attend events alone. It may feel like you're "crashing a wedding" at times but eventually you'll meet so many people you will never feel alone again.
