Tell us about your career:

I started in the property management profession in 2004 as a leasing agent in Maryland after seeing an advertisement on Craigslist that mentioned having strong sales expertise. At the time, I was working in retail and wanted a change, but I still wanted to be in the sales field. I fell in love with the industry and the potential day-to-day challenges and changes right away.

From 2004 until 2010, I worked for Kay Management. In that time, I advanced from Leasing Specialist to APM in only two years, and in a few more, I was elevated to Community Manager and finally Senior Property Manager. The business recognized my passion and drive to keep improving. After that, I changed tack and started working behind the scenes for HD Provisions for the next six years. The reason for the transition was that the industry was changing and it wasn't in line with my long-term goals. I began working with Southern Management after HD Supply, which further equipped me with the resources I needed to succeed when I decided to return to the on-site sector. I was able to broaden my knowledge, develop my skill set, and observe developments from the beginning to the end between 2017 and 2020. 2020 saw a sudden wave of layoffs brought on by COVID, among which I was one. In the end, I decided to go to North Carolina in order to shift the family dynamic in a way that worked for my family and me. I had no idea what I wanted to do when I moved, but naturally was guided back into the business and began working with Ari Management for the following two years.

In February 2024, I was presented with an incredible opportunity to join Drucker + Falk, and I have been with them ever since. Overall, I have been nominated in 2005- AOBA (Leasing Consultant of the Year), 2023 Ari (Won-Best Physical Audit) & (2023-Nominated Community Manager of the Year PTAA Diamond Awards)
