Tell Us About Your Career.
I needed a job after completing my undergrad during the Great Recession. A friend's wife used to talk about her job as a Leasing Agent and so I gave it a try. Little did I know that 2.5 years later I would become a Property Manager and would ultimately move to NC 7.5 years ago.

What advice do you have for someone just starting out in your field?
Be kind to yourself and allow yourself the time to learn. Take notes to help minimize mistakes. Find a mentor to help you with your professional development.

Anything else you would like to share?
This industry can be incredibly rewarding through the educational opportunities, the friends you will make, and the colleagues you meet through your local apartment association. Get involved!
