NAA Advocate held the record attending advocacy conference in Washington, D.C. on March 12 - 15, 2024. Industry attendees met with their congressional members on Capitol Hill to discuss critical legislation, important regulatory activity and record attention on rental housing policy at all levels of government have impacted us all.  

NAA’s “Feel the LOVE” Apartmentalize will be held in Philadelphia for the first time, June 19–21, 2024. Cultivate Powered by NAA returns for a second year September 26–27 in Austin, TX. Cultivate is an annual event for senior leadership that focuses on solving industry challenges amongst peers and leaders in a retreat-style experience. Registration is now open. 

Assembly of Delegates *New Date(s) November 12–14, 2024 in Atlanta, GA as we install Region IV’s very own Chair-Elect Alan King, Berkshire Residential Investment as the 2025 Chair. All Region VI Delegates plan to attend. Registration will be opening soon.

Introducing Maintenance Legends™  Celebrate maintenance professionals with MAINTENANCE LEGENDS™, a new program from NAA and HD Supply, featuring stories that make them legendary! Three winners will be selected each month for their tales of going above and beyond for their rental housing communities. At the end of this season, one Maintenance Legend will drive away with an amazing grand prize. 

RHALS 2024 The 2024 Rental Housing Advocacy and Legal Summit (RHALS), formerly Government Affairs Roundtable (GART) and Legal Symposium, is NAA's event that connects and educates government affairs professionals and volunteers while discussing pressing rental housing industry issues happening all over the country. Will be held in Irving, Texas July 30 – August 1. Registration is now open. 

RHALS offers attorneys an opportunity to earn CLE credits while discussing the trends, threats and challenges facing the rental housing industry. It is a must-attend event for all industry professionals seeking to stay informed and prepared to contend with the ever-evolving world of rental housing law and regulation.

And last, but not least, NAA is pleased to announce that Mike Holmes CAPS, and 2020 NAA Past Chair has been selected as 2024 inductee into the NAA Hall of Fame. Please join myself and your colleagues in congratulating Mike on receiving this prestigious recognition.
