Kellie Falk
Managing Director & Principal, Drucker & Falk

The term multifamily veteran isn’t used lightly to describe Kellie Falk – truly born into the industry, Kellie has been immersed in the world of multifamily since she was a child. Kellie currently serves as a Managing Director and Principal at Drucker + Falk, a third-generation property management company started by her grandfather and his partner in 1938. In her role, Kellie oversees new construction in the Southeast, the repositioning of older properties, business development and overall management of the company to ensure its success for future generations. Family initially got her into the profession, and family is what became of her profession – she’s passionate about the industry and feels honored coming to work each day alongside her dedicated team members.

Kellie is a longtime member of the Apartment Association of North Carolina, holding positions as Treasurer (2012-2014), Vice President (2014-2016), President (2016-2018) and Past President (2018-2020), and most recently celebrated her induction into the AANC Hall of Fame. She came into the association during a pivotal time – the long-term planning committee was gearing up to relocate AANC’s headquarters from Charlotte to Raleigh. Kellie was instrumental in the transformation of the association, including finding a new office space, transitioning the work from part time to full time, adjusting the budget, hiring a new Executive Director and completely restructuring how the association functions. She is an essential piece of the puzzle that made AANC what it is today.

Outside of the office, Kellie continues to spread her passion for multifamily to college students and the community alike. Sitting on the Board of Trustees at Wake Tech Community College (the largest community college in the state of NC), Kellie regularly educates students about careers in property management, ensuring that it’s a viable option and encouraging them to apply to the school’s maintenance program. Additionally, in September 2020, Kellie was inducted into the 2020 NC Women Business Owners Hall of Fame, including her amongst North Carolina’s most successful female entrepreneurs and advocates.
