Tell us about your career:
I have been in property management since 2017 and started as a leasing consultant here in Wilmington, NC. Ever since then, I have fallen in love with this industry. In 2018, I won the WAA "Leasing Consultant of the Year Award" and in 2019, I received my NALP designation. I wanted to know the ins and outs of property management, so I took on the challenge of a brand-new lease up. During COVID in 2020, I was promoted to Assistant Manager and worked in the downtown market of Wilmington. A year after that, I took a job as the Assistant Community Director with Flournoy properties managing 569 units. Flournoy properties have such an amazing work culture. They truly care about their employees, and always striving to become a better company. This year, I was awarded the "Larry Cranford Scholarship" at the AANC Legislative and Education Conference in Raleigh, NC. I am currently finishing up my qualifying coursework to pursue my CAM designation. I'm always looking for a way to learn more and further my career in property management.
