Tell us about your career:
I began working in the multi-family industry in 2020 in student housing. During my time there I learned one of the most critical skills for this industry which is adaptability. This skill set was and still is a stepping stone to my success. I shortly after transitioned into conventional housing as a Leasing Professional with Greystar where I worked on the Floating Team assisting over 60+ sites in my region. I was then promoted to Floating Assistant Manager as I was able to prove my strong adaptability skills as a critical asset to the on-site teams success. After a little over a year floating, I was encouraged to join the Corporate Marketing Team as this was my true passion and calling where I am able to really showcase my full-color wheel of talents to support leasing efforts through tactical and creative marketing strategies.
What advice do you have for someone just starting in your field:
Advice that I have for someone starting in this field would be to network and not be afraid to ask questions. The greatest power that you have is the ability to choose how you react to a situation. Let these situations lead to your success.
