Tell us about your career:
I started my career in multifamily as a leasing consultant where I quickly became passionate about the industry. I loved helping people find their new homes and learning about their stories. I was promoted in a short amount of time to property manager and completed several lease ups very successfully. I learned how to lead a team and build the right team to reach the goals we set. I've thought about doing real estate full time several times but I've realized how much I enjoy the multifamily industry. I'm currently a Regional Property Manager for Drucker + Falk in Wilmington.
Over the years I have enjoyed furthering my knowledge in the industry attending as many classes and seminars as possible and obtaining my Real Estate license, Certified Apartment Manager, and Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor designations through NAA. These designations have helped me grow my career and build strong connections with other people in the industry.
What advice do you have for someone just starting in your field:
I would say welcome to a world of opportunities. There's so much to offer and so many ways to grow in the industry.
