Tell us about your career:
Where to begin other than the beginning, I suppose! I am originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan and I attended Michigan State University where I obtained my Bachelor’s in Political Science. After graduation, I pursued my career in the political arena by working for a lobbying firm and a few different state representatives before finally moving into the nonprofit sector.
I have worked for two different nonprofit organizations, starting with the Triangle Apartment Association, and now with Loebsack & Brownlee, PLLC as their Strategic Partnerships Manager. I wear many hats here at L&B, but my ultimate goal is to create deeper connections with our association partners, clients, and outreach partnerships in the Carolinas and in Georgia. I do this through many different avenues including promoting industry association events, providing educational services from our Firm, and supporting events and philanthropy projects through sponsorships.
Additionally, I oversee internal and external outreach campaign initiatives, event planning, and marketing, and I also guide and nurture staff to get involved with their local apartment associations.
