What does volunteer leader mean to you?
It means someone who wants to make a difference in an organization they care about and energize others to do the same.

What advice do you have for others who are looking to volunteer with AANC?
Do it...that's the only way to get anything out of your membership. Join a committee that interests you and get involved.

What is your favorite AANC moment?
The Legislative day during the annual conference, it's fascinating speaking with our state legislators about our industries issues.

What is one piece of networking advice you would give to others?
Don't just join the association and expect your network/business to grow. It takes showing up to events, volunteering your time and sharing some of your knowledge with the people you meet.

How do you define AANC?
A group of people with the shared interest of improving multi-family housing throughout the state of North Carolina.

If time was not an issue, what is one new thing you would like to learn?
Personally I would like to learn to fly fish, professionally I would like to learn to think like a CEO
