White House Office of Public Liaison: Hurricane Dorian Outreach
On behalf of the White House Office of Public Liaison we are reaching out to you regarding Hurricane Dorian. While your primary point of contact for significant weather events (and other emergencies) is your county and State Emergency Management Agency, know that we and the federal interagency team – including FEMA – are monitoring the storm’s development and path and working in coordination with the state and local governments as well as South East Emergency Management. For up-to-date forecast information, please visit hurricanes.gov.
As the hurricane approaches, we wanted to pass along additional FEMA/DHS and SBA resources for the companies who are actively engaged on the ground. While there are many resources listed below, please always feel free to respond to this email if we can be of assistance interfacing with the agencies.
Please keep us apprised of your efforts leading up to, during, and after the storm, so to better assist everyone involved in the recovery efforts. We encourage you, your colleagues, and your community to stay safe and follow the guidance published by FEMA/DHS.
The Office of Public Liaison is happy to serve as a resource and help fast-track your queries to the appropriate agencies and staffers.
Please reach out if we can be helpful in any way and more importantly, please pass along the information to any impacted members or partner organizations.
