I have been in the multifamily business for nine years. I started as a very entry level on site team member. I would pressure wash, pick up the property, perform trash outs, do light work orders, and learn every chance I had.
I was lucky enough to have an amazing trainer/mentor who taught me everything he knew. From there I was able to grow to a seasoned technician who was eventually moved to be the only maintenance team member on a new lease up property. Shortly after I interviewed for a position with Greystar. I was hired in May of 2018 as a technician. After about a year with the company I was promoted to being an on site service supervisor. Throughout the years I supervised a 20-year old property, a newer midrise, and a seasoned garden style property. During this time I also completed CAMT and I also went through the GCAA's "Train the Trainer" program. I have used that to start co-teaching classes with the GCAA.
In May of 2024 I was promoted to the role of Construction Services Manager which is my current role with Greystar. What I absolutely love about my job is to be able to teach, help people learn, and to be that approachable person who people can count on.
