What does volunteer leader mean to you?
Being someone who doesn't just show up, but brings valuable information, ideas, and perspective to their committees. Someone who steps up to help when nobody else can.

What advice do you have for others who are looking to volunteer with AANC?
Just jump in! Start by joining one committee and try to make as much of an impact there as possible.

What is your favorite AANC moment?
Hands down the entire Legislative & Education Conference. Not only is it rewarding and beneficial, but also one of the most fun events of the year!

What is one piece of networking advice you would give to others?
Join committees, be seen as an active member of your Apartment Association locally and state wide, and everything will come easier! The more valuable of a team player you are, the more people you will connect with and learn from.

How do you define AANC?
AANC is a way to connect and network with fellow Multifamily Housing peers. It is also a way for Apartment Management Companies to connect with supplier partners in order to be educated on all available product/service options, so that they can make the best possible buying decisions.

If time was not an issue, what is one new thing you would like to learn?
I would love to learn more about the Operational side of things. I am very interested in the bigger picture strategies within my company and the Management Companies I partner with.
