Welcome to the National Apartment Association’s (NAA) highlights for August! As leaders in the rental housing industry, NAA strives to keep you informed and engaged. Here are the key updates and opportunities for you.


1. Advocacy Efforts Stand Strong for NAA’s Members 

Your contributions and participation have made a huge impact! NAA recently: 

  • Met with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to successfully advocate against their announced rulemaking to end broadband bulk billing agreements
  • Advocated for the inclusion of language to eliminate the CARES Act 30-day notice requirement into the House T-HUD 2025 Appropriations bill
  • Submitted 44 comment letters to Congress, the White House and federal agencies so far this year

    2. Maintenance Legends Season 2 Begins Aug. 1

    3. 2025 Apartmentalize Credential Holder Scholarship Opens Aug. 5

    NAAEI offers six scholarships to credential holders that have never attended Apartmentalize! One scholarship per credential will be given (CALP, CAM, CAMT, CAPS, CAS, IRO). Share this opportunity and nominate your credential superstars.

    4. Call for Committee Volunteer Application Deadline: Sept. 1st

    NAA is now accepting applications for committee service for 2025. Applicants must be employees of a member in good standing and complete an application by September 1st.  Submit Volunteer Application
