1. 2025 Committee Applications Now Open!

Interested in shaping the future of the NAA? We are now accepting volunteer interest applications for our 2025 committees. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the industry's growth and development. The deadline to apply for committee service is September 1, 2024. Submit your application today!

2. NAA's Scholarship Track: DEI Opportunities

NAA is dedicated to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion within the rental housing industry. This year, we are offering two incredible opportunities:

  • Alex Jackiw DEI Scholarship: Aimed at supporting individuals who are passionate about advancing DEI initiatives.

5. Advocacy Efforts Stand Strong for NAA’s Members

The collective efforts and participation of our members have made a significant impact this year. Here are some highlights:

  • HUD Engagement: Over 2,000 member comments were shared with HUD to address concerns about the proposed criminal screening rule.
  • Rent Control Advocacy: Through NAA's Housing Affordability Program (HAP), we supported the Chicagoland Apartment Association's successful advocacy against rent control, resulting in no rent control bills passing this year.
  • Legislative Influence: NAA has submitted 38 comment letters to Congress, the White House, and federal agencies so far this year.
