Tell us about your career:
Prior to joining Carlisle Residential Properties, I held numerous roles including Area Vice President, Regional Manager, Property Manager, Assistant Manager and Leasing Professional. My vast experience and extensive knowledge in project management and fee management has uniquely positioned me to successfully turn-around properties to class “A” status all over North and South Carolina. I am known and respected for my high-energy, positive attitude, and direct approach to solutions and improvements.
My current responsibilities include oversight of a team of property management professionals, property operations, employee recruitment, training, vendor relations and financial reporting.
In addition to earning my Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) designation in 2017 through the National Apartment Association (NAA), I currently serve as an officer for Piedmont Triad Apartment Association. In 2020 I was invited to take part in the National Apartment Associations Leadership Lyceum, a program designed to train future industry leaders. Also in 2020 I was awarded Corporate Professional of the Year from Piedmont Triad Apartment Association.
What advice do you have for someone just starting in your field:
Have a passion for helping AND empathizing with people. I read 1st Corinthians 13 almost every morning. It's a great way to start the day! :)
Anything else you would like to share:
I possess a deeply rooted knowledge and enjoyment of property management and truly enjoy welcoming and mentoring others in the business. Although this career (property management) was not a part of my plan, it was God's plan and I'm so happy it was. I truly love what I do, and I hope it shows through my actions.
