Tell us about your career:
I began my career in the apartment industry in 2014 as a Leasing Consultant. After working in multiple property sales, I found my passion with Hawthorne Residential Partners, where I had a successful 7-year tenure. During this time, I progressed through various roles, starting as a leasing consultant, then moving up as an Assistant Manager, and ultimately becoming a Property Manager. Despite facing the challenge of a lease-up in 2020, my team was able to achieve 100% occupancy in just 6 months. I was then promoted to the role of Regional Marketing Specialist, supporting communities across the Triad and Texas. In 2022, I took a leap of faith, stepping off-site while remaining involved in the industry. I joined the best law firm, Loebsack & Brownlee, PLLC, and within just 6 months, I was promoted to Team Lead, and most recently to my new role of Strategic Partnerships Manager.
What advice do you have for someone just starting in your field:
Be open to change! It is essential for personal and professional growth. I encourage you to shadow and learn every position to gain a solid understanding of the eviction process from start to finish. This will help you better serve our clients and also develop an understanding and respect for each team member's role and responsibility.
