Tell us about your career:
I began my property management career in 2009 as a Leasing Consultant in student housing. At that time I was part-time and attending UNCG. I had no intentions of staying in the industry! The only offers I had after graduating college were property management. I continued leasing and was promoted to a Community Manager in 2011 at another student housing property.
In 2013, I started my career with Bell Partners as an Assistant Community Manager for 3 months and then was promoted to Community Manager. Bell Partners has been a fantastic company to work for! I worked as a Community Manager in Greensboro for 7 years and in 2020 I made the move to Raleigh! This career brings so many good people into your life and is a truly rewarding experience.
What advice do you have for someone just starting in your field:
Be patient and do not expect to know everything in one day! Everything takes time! Learn your property inside and out. Most importantly, have fun making your community the best place to live!
