Tell us about your career:
I started as a Leasing Specialist with Blue Ridge Companies at Brookberry Park in 2016. In July of 2017, I was promoted to the Assistant Manager position. I've been here ever since! Not many people can say they love coming to work every day, and I'm thankful to have been able to do so over the last five years.
What advice do you have for someone just starting in your field:
You will have some very, very good days. And you will have some very, VERY bad days. Keep your head up and move forward. The good days will always outweigh the bad ones. When Resident A is upset about X, Y, and Z, remind yourself how happy Resident B looked when they saw their new home for the first time. Pro Tip: Don't ever forget how essential you are in your position, global pandemic or not.
