Tell us about your career:
My career started in Real Estate, about seven years ago, which naturally lead me to the property management industry. My passion to give back to my community only pushed me to work my way up to an assistant manager role, and I then discovered my true passion and new career path in marketing! I am a proud member of the XCEL Committee for the Triangle Apartment Association and NEXTGEN Committee for AANC.
What advice do you have for someone just starting in your field:
Give yourself some grace! Don't go into your career thinking you have to be the expert. Allow those around you to teach you everything they know and in time, you will discover your strengths and areas you can work on mastering. Just remember, everyone started at the beginning, at one point, just like you, so celebrate your wins and see failure as a positive opportunity to become a better version of yourself.

Be kind. Remember, you never know what the person in front of you may be going through and you may be the very person they need to see to turn their whole day around. The feeling is contagious, so lead by example!
