Tell us about your career:
When I was 19 years old and trying to figure out life, someone said to me "you should try leasing apartments, you would be good at it." With no prior experience and thinking it sounded fun I applied for my first Leasing Consultant position. That was in 1997 and by the age of 21, I had been promoted to a Community Manager position. I have been on all types of properties throughout my career. In Property Management things change every single day and you learn every single day. I look forward to my continued growth within this industry and with my company.
What advice do you have for someone just starting in your field:
Have confidence in yourself. There is a lot to learn and to continue to learn so take it one step at a time. Get involved with your company and local apartment association.

When you believe in yourself, in your company, in your peers, and in your product you can go anywhere you want to go! This is not just a job it is a rewarding career path.
