NC Supreme Court Chief Justice Beasley has confirmed her plans and ordered the Courts to remain free of hearings through at least June 1. She has convened a Task Force to plan the strategy for re-opening the Courts, and has given some guidance in that regard. Governor Cooper has announced his plans for "Phase 1 Re-Opening" in the State effective on Friday, May 8th. Chris will discuss both Orders and their impact on what to expect in the Courthouses, and with existing and future eviction case proceedings.
